Terms and conditions
Below, we would like to present the General Terms and Conditions of Purchase for the products listed on our website https://surfcar.com.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making any purchase. Placing an order implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1. Deliveries
1.1 Surfcar.com only delivers to Spain (with the exception of the Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla) and the rest of the European Union. We do not ship to Switzerland.
2. Prices
2.1 All prices shown on the website are expressed in euros.
2.2 The prices established for the products on the date the order is placed will apply. The established prices are the final prices, meaning they include value-added tax in Spain at the applicable legal rate.
3. Cancellation
3.1 Orders may be canceled before the goods are dispatched by contacting Customer Service. Once dispatched, they cannot be canceled.
4. Shipments
4.1 Shipping is FREE to mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and Portugal for orders over €45, for purchases less than this amount the shipping costs are €4.90. Shipping to the rest of the countries of the Continental European Union is FREE for orders over €90, for purchases less than this amount the shipping costs are €15.
4.2 The estimated delivery time is 1 to 3 business days to mainland Spain and 3 to 5 to the Balearic Islands. During sales periods and special discount and promotional campaigns, delivery times may be delayed by up to 3 days. The delivery time begins when payment is received, the order is processed in our warehouses, and the merchandise is shipped. Please note that shipments are managed by third parties; therefore, the specified delivery times are for guidance only and do not take into account possible delays due to payment authorizations or exceptional transport conditions (exceptional weather conditions, strikes, etc.).
4.3 All orders placed during our warehouse holiday period, regardless of their destination, may experience a delay in delivery times.
4.4 Orders cannot be redirected once placed.
4.5 If for any reason when preparing the order we are missing a purchased unit, the customer will be offered the option of exchanging it for another item of equal value or receiving a refund.
4.6 In the unlikely event that upon receipt of the order the packaging is found open or shows signs that the product may have been stolen or damaged, you must refuse delivery, immediately notifying MEDITERRANEA DE CAMISERÍA SL through customer service.
5. Payment and security
5.1 You can currently pay for your purchases using credit or debit cards, as well as PayPal.
Credit/Debit Card: To ensure the security of credit/debit card payments, surfcar.com uses secure payment systems in which data is transmitted directly and encrypted with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) security protocols to the corresponding financial institution. Credit card data is recorded directly and securely encrypted on the payment gateway website, without any of this data being stored on our servers.
Paypal: If you select Paypal as your payment method, the page will redirect you to their platform to complete the payment at the end of the checkout process. If you are already a PayPal customer, you can confirm the payment by logging into your account with your login details. If you don't have a Paypal account yet, you can create one or log in as a guest.
5.2 Until you make full payment of the purchase price, the product will remain our property.
6. Promotional vouchers
6.1 Promotional vouchers are vouchers awarded during advertising campaigns and are valid for a certain period of time.
6.2 Promotional vouchers may be redeemed only once in connection with an order, and only within the stated period.
6.3 The value of the product must be equal to or greater than the value of the promotional voucher.
6.4 Promotional vouchers will not be refunded if all or part of the products are returned.
6.5 Promotional vouchers may only be redeemed before the order is finalized. Vouchers cannot be applied retroactively.
6.6 Unless otherwise stated, multiple promotional vouchers cannot be combined.
7. Returns and exchanges
7.1 Returns are FREE in mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and countries of the Continental European Union.
7.2 You have 15 days to return your order from the moment you receive it.
7.3 Returns of products will result in a refund equal to the purchase price of the returned product(s), except if a promotional voucher has been used, in which case it will be discounted. Shipping costs, if applicable, will not be refunded.
7.4 To make a return, the product must be unused and in perfect condition, including accessories, documentation and original packaging.
7.5 In the case of defective products, or products that do not correspond to the order placed, you must return them through our collection system.
7.6 To make the return you must follow the following steps:
1. Contact Customer Service via email with the following information:
- Order number.
- Name and surname.
- Pick-up address.
- Product you wish to return.
- Reason for return.
- Date you would like us to pick up your return.
2. Once we receive your return request, we will confirm the collection date and instructions for preparing the package so the shipping agency can pick it up by email within 1 to 3 business days.
3. Once we have received the merchandise and checked its condition, we will proceed to refund the corresponding amount.
7.7 If a product does not meet your expectations or you need a size exchange, you must process your return for a refund, following our return instructions. If you are interested in a different product or size, proceed with a new purchase. The terms and prices in effect at the time of purchase of the new product will apply.
8. Refund
8.1 The refund will be made using the same payment method you used at the time of purchase.
8.2 If you paid by credit/debit card, the refund will be made to the same card.
8.3 If you paid with PayPal, the amount will be refunded to your PayPal account. You can then decide whether to transfer the money to your bank account or leave it in PayPal for future payments. If your PayPal account is closed, we reserve the right to refund you to a bank account. Refunds cannot be sent to a different PayPal account.
